Environment
Climate change is one of the defining challenges of our time, and we don't believe any business, however small, gets a free pass on its responsibility to act.
Single-use plastic free
We have eliminated single-use plastic from all of our purchasing. Every product we buy is either plastic-free or made from recycled materials. This is a standing requirement, not an aspiration.
Recycled materials as standard
Where a product exists in a recycled or sustainably sourced form, that is what we buy. We apply this across all operational purchasing and review our supply choices regularly.
Remote-first by design
Our hybrid and remote working model meaningfully reduces commuting emissions across our team. Fewer daily commutes, less business travel, and a reduced physical footprint are built into how we operate.
Paperless operations
As a digital-first business, we operate with minimal paper use. Our platform actively helps schools reduce their own administrative paper trails, so our environmental impact extends beyond our own walls.

We are committed to regularly reviewing our environmental impact, setting measurable targets as we grow, and being honest about where we still have work to do.

Profit sharing for good
We donate a percentage of our annual profits to charitable causes. Our giving is reviewed each year, with causes chosen to reflect our values — spanning education, child welfare, mental health, and environmental action. We believe profit and purpose are not in conflict.
Built for the most underserved
Our core mission is inherently social. SEND pupils are among the most underserved in the education system. Every product decision we make is oriented towards closing that gap — better provision, better outcomes, and less of the administrative burden that falls on the people trying to help them.
Fair employment
We pay above the National Living Wage, publish transparent salary bands, conduct regular equal pay audits, and actively work to build a diverse team. We don't just comply with employment law — we try to exceed it.

We work closely with SENCOs, teachers, Educational Psychologists, and school leaders — not just as customers, but as collaborators and product ambassadors. Their expertise shapes our product, and we're committed to giving back to the profession that makes our mission possible.

Security and data you can trust
We hold Cyber Essentials Plus certification, verified by independent technical audit. We operate mandatory multi-factor authentication across all systems, role-based access control, and sandboxed third-party integrations. For a platform handling sensitive data about children, anything less isn't good enough.
Transparent pay and equal opportunities
We publish salary ranges publicly, monitor workforce diversity annually, and conduct equal pay audits at least every two years. Pay decisions are never influenced by protected characteristics, and we hold ourselves accountable to that.
Ethical procurement
We apply ethical considerations to how we spend — favouring suppliers with credible environmental and social commitments, and eliminating single-use plastic from our supply chain entirely.
Honest reporting
As we grow, we are committed to reporting transparently on our ESG progress — including where we fall short. We will publish annual updates on our charitable giving, environmental initiatives, and governance practices. Accountability requires honesty, and we won't dress up inaction as ambition.
